OKUYO JOEL ATIKU PRYNCE
Born December 4th 1983.
Okuyo Joel Atiku Prynce is a multi-talented actor, model and Director. He is also a part time lecturer at Uganda Christian University in Mukono. Prynce started acting on stage at the age 6 and was awarded best actor for a school play at the age of 11. He started taking pictures at age of 9, when he got his first camera as a gift his father brought him from the former USSR. Today Prynce is a worldwide recognized talent as a model, photographer and a 6 Time International award winning actor | Director.
From a small town in northwestern Uganda (Arua) to a six time International award winning actor; Africa, Europe & USA,with a lot of hard work, discipline, resilience and professionalism, he is aplomb and he has proved that he can satisfy the world standards and quality of a good actor.That explains how he has been able to work around the globe including Israel. As model,he's very versatile; fashion photography poses, fashion runway, television commercials and promos in Uganda, Tanzania and Ghana, Billboard modeling, Magazine covers, nothing seems to slow down the amazing talent of PRYNCE.
He has steadfast become one of Africa’s most awarded, most sought after, most celebrated superstars, that has broken the frontiers of the continent and represented African film in many foreign films, working with some of the greatest directors in the industry; Mira Nair, Michael Landon Jr., Gabriel Range, Mark Lawrie, Yuval Sherfferman, Matt Bish, Paul Bercziller not limited to the above, he has worked under various conditions around the globe, he therefore is a well-shaped, well experienced actor that a producer can bet on to bring life to a project.
Prynce, is not only an excellent talent, but also a great philanthropist, who cares for humanity, the community and the future through various projects he has achieved substantial and much needed change in the areas of climate change, literacy, child mortality rates, clean water accessibility and refugee welfare to mention but a few. Such magnitude of projects he started as small as a ghetto project to keep children off the street, out of drug life and in School in the slums of Kamwokya-Kampala with a project called Juvenile Diversion program, as a professional Social worker putting efforts together with his partner an IT specialist Cucu E. Bryan, the project was a major success.
